How does the HAEA Youth Advocacy Network work?

The Youth Advocacy Network is a branch of the HAEA’s Grassroots Advocacy Network that offers specialized youth-focused training and advocacy opportunities for teens and young adults.

How do I get involved in advocacy activities?

Each year, HAEA Youth Advocacy Network members will be invited to join two virtual youth advocacy training workshops, and one in-person advocacy training event. Youth Advocates will also be invited to join our annual Capitol Hill event. Each event will inform and educate young members about important issues impacting the community and how they can take action to make a difference.

How can I join the HAEA Youth Advocacy Network:

Youth members who register for an HAEA Youth Advocacy initiative or event will be added to the network and will receive communications about upcoming youth advocacy opportunities and advocacy alert notifications when an issue needs your support.
